Standard Operating Procedures

SOPs

Standard Operating Procedures are basically step-by-step instructions on how to take the various samples needed to maintain a viable and useful monitoring program. These procedures are standardized so that anyone using the data will know how it was obtained, be reasonably confident it meets certain minimum standards for accuracy, and be able to correlate it to other data obtained in the same manner.
