The foundation of any grassroots, non-profit organization is its members, and LAPA-West is no exception. Without our members, we would not exist, and without the efforts of those members nothing would ever be accomplished.

Within LAPA-West there are four types of members:

General MembersThese are the Lake and Pond Associations that make up the backbone of LAPA-West. These members have voting rights. Annual dues are $80.00.

Individual Members
These are members of the various Lake and Pond Associations that have also joined LAPA-West to lend their support here as well. Annual dues are $20.00.

Student Members
These are individuals who are currently enrolled in some form of accredited educational institution. These members do not have voting rights. Annual dues are $10.00.

Associate Members
– These are individuals, businesses, other environmental organizations, government agencies, and so forth, that do not belong to one of the member Lake or Pond Associations but who still want to be involved and make a difference. These members do not have voting rights. Annual dues are $40.00.

All members of every type receive a copy of the quarterly newsletter “The LAPA-West Lakes & Pond Journal”.
